The Healing Hands of CranioSacral Therapy
Welcome to my blog, The Healing Hands of CranioSacral Therapy. My name is Chana Bracha, though some friends call me Andrea Kornfeld. I hope to bring information and insights into ourselves and into the world of CranioSacral Therapy.
We are electric, and so are the people around us. The movement of cerebrospinal fluid within the spine and around the brain is part of the quiet rhythm of the body. When we are feeling well, we often have more energy. When we do not, we pause so we can rest and recoup.
When a child falls and a mother picks him up, comforts him, and stays close, that simple presence can be deeply reassuring. When we visit the sick, our presence in the room matters. Patients who have visitors are often less alone and more supported.
How can we help loved ones? Make certain that the child sees a competent physician when medical care is needed. When the situation does not call for urgent care, gentle attention, calm presence, and instinctive care can go a long way.
